as being a younger grower i am not as experienced. over my last few seasons my water system has been the sprinkler, but what other things should i use Drip line, mister soaker? i would like to see what works more efficiant and what evens out the water put on the pumpkin plants.
thank you

Below is a link to a pic showing my irr system. The pipes are 1 inch pvc spaced 3 ft apart.

This link shows the pipes in action. The 1/8 the inch holes are drilled 18 inches apart, which creates water insertion points throughout the patch on an 18 inch grid.

I simply use a sprinkler system. If I had the choise I would use a combination of sprinklers with tornado misters with each on their own timer and valves. I hope to add something like that in the future. If you look at what the heavy hitters use most of them are just using sprinklers. The important thing is to water the plant and make sure they are getting just the right amount.
